Al beda Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project

-Phase 1: The preliminary design comprises the determination of the reference situation of the public infrastructure in operation in Al Beda, as well as the layout of intervention areas and recommended solutions and corresponding cost estimates of the construction works required, in order to ensure their appropriate renovation and rehabilitation. Public infrastructure involved includes water supply and domestic sewage and rainwater sewerage systems, roads and streets, urban layout, electricity, gas and communication networks. Al Beda is a city located in eastern Libya, with about 70,000 inhabitants and an urban area of approximately 1,300 ha.

  • Phase 2: The basic design develops proposals of solutions for the global and integrated development of infrastructure, taking into account the existing constraints with the purpose of ensuring the desired levels of service.
  • Phase 3: The detailed design comprises conceptual design and detailing of the infrastructure to be built, including measurements and budgets and specifications required for putting the corresponding projects out to tender, as well as technical assistance.
