With a PhD in Architecture from the Instituto Superior Técnico, specialising in Sustainability, Resilience and Urban Regeneration, Duarte Nunes has more than 10 years of experience in integrated research and consultancy in sustainability, applied to projects and environmental certification. His professional career developed firstly at an academic level as a professor and researcher in projects for the optimisation and certification of sustainability demand in built environments of various scales, in the phases of design, construction and operation, and for various public and private entities. After concluding his Doctorate, he continued his research work alongside his activity as an Architect and Consultant in Sustainability and Resilience, having participated in the development of various urban, commercial, hospitality, office and housing planning projects, throughout their various phases. Since 2021, he is part of the Quadrante Group as Project Manager in the Environment and Sustainability Business Unit.
