The Vila Rio real estate development, with a unique location on the banks of the Tagus River, transforms 17 hectares of land into a new dynamic and sustainable urban space.
A residential project that combines housing, shops and services, with the development of over 43,000 m2 of new green spaces, low construction density and the enhancement of pedestrian mobility, including over 20 km of bike paths.
A new neighbourhood, adapted to new ways of life and offering a unique living experience, materialised, in a first phase, in two 25 m high residential buildings located in a green space of 6 hectares, with a panoramic view over the Tagus and Lisbon.
Quadrante oversaw the engineering services of the first two plots (1 and 3), from feasibility studies to planning application and detail design. The services included structures, excavation, peripheral containment, electrical installations, telecommunications, security, hydraulic installations, HVAC, electromechanical equipment (lifts), gas, acoustics, thermal, energy pre-certification, health and safety plan (PSS), construction and demolition waste management plan (PPGRCD).
Project summary:
- Two six-storey buildings with two basement levels for parking
- 68 flats, ranging from 2 to 4 bedrooms
- Built area: 3,100 m2
- Residential area: 12,000 m2
- Gross floor area: 21,300 m2
All engineering projects were designed in coordination following the BIM Methodology. The structures were developed at LOD (Level of Development) 300, while the remaining specialities were designed at LOD 200.
