The Undertaking consists of the construction of a wastewater treatment plant, the expansion and densification of the water supply network and a new wastewater drainage system in Sumbe (pop. 290,000 inhab.; 2040 (forecast): 400,000 inhab.)
The WWTP will consist of an activated sludge wastewater treatment process with final UV disinfection with 4 treatment lines of 15,000 inhabitants each.
